Title: Got to replace 86 gas tank

I know it's here somewhere but to no avail I can't find,my 86 tank has pinhole looking for replacement I got a 87 but reversed color and inside need major overhaul...will a 84-85 tank work I know the caps are different  that's ok...my current  86 has petcock swap already to manual valve...

Yes, 84/85 tanks fit. The vacuum petcock on the 84/85 tanks fit the 86/87 (and less expensive) so you should be good to go with your manual petcock on the 84/85 tank.

Its not painted, a member was going to have it repainted. Then he found one painted and sold it. If still interested I will get it off the shelf and take some pictures.
