Title: Oil coming from drain tube
Post by: gumby302ho on April 30, 2015, 02:11:14 PM
Okay so I just did a long ride yesterday, no issues, I was really hard on the bike, lots of red line work as I was in the mood, it was a great day for it. I took the bike into town just now and noticed oil on the side case on throttle side, further inspection revealed it is coming from the drain tube on the far right carb on throttle side, as I am riding I can see it dribble out in small drops, I am now in panic mode, my 86 is running great, nice and smooth and fires right up, why is this tube dripping oil? I pray for good news.  :dash2:

Do you have a stock airbox or pods?
Is your crankcase breather hooked up?
What is your oil level in engine? full sight glass or between the lines.
