Hi FJ folks.........
The "Welcome to the Group" messages I'm seeing are really pleasing.
I sure appreciate it. If I mind my manners, I hope to be able to fit in with y'all.
I see lottsa familiar faces, along with some FJ'ers I've not yet kicked tires with.
Let's work on that, eh?
Some comments directed towards individuals:
Conlon..... when didja snap that photo? Musta been either an early West Coast Rally, otherwise musta been Gunnison....? And I _LOVE_ the brake parts you so generously sent my way!
Dan Filetti.....yeah, the miles keep adding up. My favorite FJ now has abt. 215,000 miles. I tell ya, it's getting' VERY hard to find/buy new OEM parts for a 31 year old bike. OTOH, over the years and miles, I've had to buy very few FJ parts.
Eric M. I'm eager for an update on the FJ that you were restoring last time we chatted.
Randy T. Last time I saw you was a few hours after we departed Boone, in the rain. I passed Dean N., then a bit later I saw you and Steph on an on-ramp, north-bound, in that big rental truck. Dunno if you saw me waving or not............What year was that??
1tinindian Leon......Yup, I remember you and your son. We all traveled together from Denver to Gunnison, up and over Monarch Pass. Beautiful country.
Rock Lucas......I think the last time you and I chatted, we didn't even mention motorcycles. We were yakkin' about Nick Lowe and "Rockpile".......remember that? Whew!!!
Again.......to each and every one of you FJ'ers........"Thank you" for the nice "Welcome"....!!

No, Lee, I don't remember the "Rockpile" conversation. Then again, that was 10 years ago and there's a lot of things from that time frame that I don't remember :scratch_one-s_head:. I blame much of that on Frank Moore and his Red Cap.
I think the picture was originally taken by Randy T. At least, it was posted under his name on the old FJRally.com site. Boone 2004.

Lee,
Yes, welcome back!
Someone posted your picture before, so you seem familiar. Sure would enjoy meeting you in person.
