Got my eye on some Yamaha YZF R6 05 R1 04 05 06 Front Brake Calipers are these just a straight swap

I have a 1988 17 inch wheel

It was on my 1990. So yours should be the same.

Yep, that color is an '89 here in the states and the Blue dots bolt up properly.

05 R6 and 04 05 06 R1 calipers are radial mount and will not bolt onto any year FJ fork.

You are correct Hein ! The radials are different. Has to be a Blue or Gold dot units...
