It may fit the engine, but may not fit between the FJ frame rails. That is part of the reason why Randy at RPM developed his own FI system.

I have looked at this a few times...

Fitting all that up is way beyond my skill level.
I think I will wait for the RPM plug and play kit... and a lotto win.

I wonder how that is progressing.....( to date- lotto not so good)

That sounds like an Aussie approach.
Burt Monroe would never have resorted to that.

"Easy Conversion" ummm.  What controller are you going to use?  High pressure fuel pump system, ignition trigger, intake adapters (you have the width and mounting height problems in the FJ), designing/making a temp sending unit for the controller (most of these throttle body units are designed for water cooled bikes), after all that then there is the mapping.  Without a dyno and some instrumentation you are shooting in the dark which is OK but you run the risk of terminally damaging the top end by accidentally running to lean.

That said it can be done (has been)  but as far as  "Easy conversion" I don't think so.  I will comment that in my old days of converting small block Chev's from carbs to throttle body's were that the response and MPG did improve but the top end HP decreased.  But that was early conversion experiments.

Think I will stay with the carbs.  IMO if I wanted fuel injection I would look for a newer bike.  Things to think about anyhow and I am sure I missed a detail or two.
