Title: Rear suspension
Post by: ADHD Perfected on March 21, 2015, 10:29:22 PM
I know I'm flogging a dead horse but here goes. I know PENSKE or Rpm racing....but these are way out of budget for now I've heard goldwing bmw and gsr shocks might be an option for my 87. Welding and fabrication aren't an issue as it's part of my occupation. I intend to put the rpm valve in the forks this fall unless I have no choice

The front RPM fork valves will make you think you rear end is possessed. I did the front first and discovered my rear was my new torment... I am not using the the RPM shock in a standard install, so I will not comment till I have it dialed in....  But I like what I have so far.... It is better than stock....

Honda f4i is what I have on my 86. I put a heavier eibach spring on it. Total cost including the spring compressor tool. Was (it's been a while) $160. Without the spring and tools. Around $50.

Went and verified what I already knew.. oem rear shock. I'm saving for the carb work being done at the moment and will contact you once that's done. long shot would you have the part # for spring and thank you for your help.
