wow 14months to walk without a cane . I bet the guy is a great weatherman.
Yah mine didn't fly down into my scrotum. But broke off the same place. Shattered my left elbow. Broke my skull in 2 places. Broke my nose. Impacted the vertebrae in my neck. Tore my lung in 2 places my liver, my kidney, my spleen, an my lower intestine in 2 places. They took more blood out of my chest cavity than a human being is supposed to have and left plenty on the pavement. Was wearing a full face helmet and full leather suit. Supposedly less than 30 mph. Spent 2 1/2 months in the hospital. But was riding the next summer. Wore my shattered helmet with the blood clots still on it. Till I got a new one.
Can remember getting really excited the first time I could flush a urinal with my left hand. :yahoo:
Damn ,, that is a lot of damage to recover from . :empathy2:
Ya know it qualifies you for the t-shirt ..." IF YOU DON'T LIMP ,YOU AINT SHIT"
Yah I do limp. But thats my knees. Caused by skiing, bouncing, and jumping over a puddle in my basement. :sarcastic:
Had so much surgery throughout my life. I have a little over 4ft of surgical scars. You would think I would learn. But there's too much life to live.
There's nothing to be scared of. Except not having lived your life to it's fullest. Before it's gone. Man I love living!!!
That's right man , you gotta keep living your life. :good:
If you make it to the WCR we can swap crash tales over a few drinks. :drinks:
Sounds Good. Sure hope I make this one. I'm taking my once in a lifetime month long paid sabbatical. To do it.
The last time the hospital said we can't release you until we teach you how to use crutches. I told them with over a years accumulated time on them I would teach their class--now I'm leaving. I am more cautious in my old age as I don't heal up as fast as I used to. Dave
