Another god bothering lunatic (http://www.argus-press.com/articles/2009/12/27/news/news1.txt#blogcomments) has risen his greedy head above the parapets, this time claiming his imaginary friend has told him to invest money in a Church.
Invest in a Church.
All investments expect a return, in this case, tax free.

"We believe that the Bible is God's Holy Word to us. Our Owner's Manual for life. The Bible was authored by God and written by human writers under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture of error."

I would guess if any of us showed up on anything other than a Harley we'd get run of of church and told to get a real bike before returning. :bad:

I've spent far too long now trying to conceptualize a witty reply or rye social comment. Alas, a single thread of sense as eluded me, but needless to say, there's plenty of folk here in thee god ol US of A who love nothing better than a righteous testament tirade. I've lost count of persons who've tried to hijack my weekend Fj time with a 'fellowship meeting' suggestion or a prayer recital. Must be a cultural thing - I'll ask the wife. She says, and she knows a bit being an American and a history teacher: 'puritanism is in our nature and in pursuit of the same religious freedoms that people came to this country for, Christians want an environment in which to practice their hobbies (like biking) without perverting their core values.'
So there you go. My thoughts exactly. If she's happy, I'm happy. See. Where's my beer.
Good for them!!!!
It's called CMA
Christian Motorcycle Association
So they (WE) invest in something eternal rather then temporary should that bother you?
We love God and bikes.
It's funny how some people are so willing to put down anything related to God
And there are plenty of unsaved overweight women in the biking as well as men.
Men and women of CMA do a lot of good at rallies. We never find a shortage of men and women asking for their selves and their bikes to be "blessed" and prayer for their riding safety.
Sure we may not attend the bikini contests or the like and get drunk but at least we have more in common with the others wearing a CMA patch then just riding.
Jesus is our focus and the salvation of the lost is our mission. If you want to make fun of that then fine. Don't forget you may someday be laying on a hospital bed after a bike accident and find that a CMA member makes a trip to see you and to pray for you.
And maybe you'll see how unselfish and caring someone can be for your physical and spiritual needs.
Or maybe you'll die without the Lord and spend eternity in Hell regretting your decision.
Maybe

CMA has been doing the gear check at Laguna Seca every year for at least as long as I've been going (2002).
I don't understand all hate that seems to get thrown their way. I see it in other forums.
I'm not a member and I'm not a Christian.
Why did Klavdy post a picture of Billy Lane?

Why did Klavdy post a picture of Billy Lane?
He posted pics from their own website: http://www.victorybikerchurch.org/ (http://www.victorybikerchurch.org/)
I wonder if they have permission to use that pic for their advertising?

So they (WE) (you, monetarily) invest in something eternal (intangible, unquantifiable and unprovable) rather then temporary should that bother you?
We love God and bikes (and tax-free status).
It's funny (understandable) how some people are so willing to put down anything related to God (self-serving nonsense).
And there are plenty of unsaved (unexploited) overweight women (with low self-esteem and ripe for the plucking) in the biking as well as (similarly afflicted) men.
Men and women of CMA do a lot of good (happy-clapping and bothering) at rallies. We never find a shortage of (stupid) men and (stupid) women asking for their selves and their bikes to be "blessed" and prayer for their riding safety (so they can have some attention).
Sure we may (dare) not attend the bikini contests or the like and get drunk (do anything much fun) but at least we have more in common (like world-leading obesity) with the others wearing a CMA patch then just riding.
Jesus is our focus (farce) and the salvation (exploitation) of the lost (disenfranchised and malleable) is our mission (scam). If you want to make fun of that then fine *sulk*. Don't forget you may someday be laying on a hospital bed after a bike accident (caused by a migratory pod of our wobbling numpties) and find that a CMA member makes a trip to see you and to pray for (at) you (hoping you'll join up while under on painkillers).
And maybe you'll see how unselfish and caring someone can be (act) for your physical and spiritual needs.
Or maybe *lame and obvious "seed of doubt" ploy* you'll die without the Lord and spend eternity in Hell regretting your decision.
Maybe *lamely trying to reinforce the "seed of doubt" ploy*

Klavdy,
Maybe god does not hate you, maybe he just thinks you're offensive and cheeky. I'm sure there's a hail Mary you can do to fix that right up. :sarcastic:

Can we just go directly to posting what type of gun is best used for executions?
Or what kind of oil to use in the getaway car?
What kind of tires are best for doing burnouts on someone's face?
Sheesh.
