Title: work
Post by: big r on February 10, 2015, 09:01:03 PM
This week really sucks. I can't work because of the warmer than usual weather. This is the time of the year that us loggers make our best money and I won't be able to get out at all this week. Really putting a crimp in getting my bike ready for spring(you know buying parts and such). Hopefully things will turn around soon and I can get back at it. Big R

NO, it is to warm and all the frost is coming out of the ground and we can't haul any logs. This doesn't normally happen until mid to late March. Hoping for some colder weather to freeze the roads up again. Big R

ok, now its a bit clearer.  sometimes its a bit hard for me to understand what goes on in your neck of the woods.. weather wise...

ive never even seen snow in real life... once at work we had to endure temps well over 40c for weeks . even played a game of cricket and it was 47.9c according to the local radio station.

I really feel for you guys back east. You have really gotten hammered this year. We had some serious snow in the center of the province. Kitimat got about 6 ft. in about a week. We don't have hardly any snow here and I am afraid that we are going to pay for it in March. with colder weather ans a late spring. Big R

It sucks brother ....right! More on the way this weekend....12 to 18". 1978 was the worst I have seen but the total accumulation this year is fierce. We could use some of that "Global Warming".
