As if you were sitting on the bike facing forward:

Left coil with orange and red/white wire connector on it, plug wires go to spark plugs on cylinders 1 and 4.

Right coil with grey and red/white wire connector on it, plug wires go to spark plugs on cylinders 2 and 3.

Cash,

I understand what the wrap tape does on headers (keeps the heat and therefore speed of the gas high), but what does the wrap tape on the muffler do?

Update:
Picked up gas tank, internal coated, primered. Front end assembled, speedo sensor installed. zip tied lights for a quick look at what?
Building tach bracket. Grinding tabs, making tabs for front turn signals
drill and tap bolts for bar ends. Start engine next week!!!
