I'm going to paint the 86. That I bought for the turbo. I'm looking for midnight blue like on my 89. But just a little bit more blue. Something that still looks black, but when you get close. You can definitely see it's blue. The midnight blue on the 89s some times when you get up close you still can't see the blue. Looking for a car color. Or bike or anything that I could see and then have my painter order it.
I'm going to try ghost painting the stock graphics. In a candy(translucent) red.

My wife's Toyota (before the crash ...) looked just like this. Definite blue, but also black-looking under certain conditions. It's a 2007 Toyota Avalon

Here is a photo of a past members FJ. I remember seeing this FJ for sale about the time I joined the forum. (About 2 1/2 years ago).
Maybe some of the members who remember this bike and the owner that did the paint job can contact him to find out where he got his paint from.
