If Randy sells it, buy from RPM.

I Scubadive, and the saying goes: Support your local dive-shop.

Support your local cycle-shop.
Randy sells FJ because he cares.

Looks like the UNI pods RPM sells, but if its not from RPM then they could be a knock off product. Buying direct with RPM will cut out the added cost of this middle man. If he had one set to sell then maybe he bought it then changed his mind, but he has 3 to sell... He is using the name of another business to turn a profit...  :diablo:

Yeah, he's also selling the spin on oil conversion (10 available and listed as GENUINE RPM) and the crankcase breather filter as RPM parts.. Course I won't pass judgement till Randy weighs in. This guy might have bulk purchased to provide easier access for the UK riders..

Oh... This is why Randy changed his oil filter adapter to have his logo... The filter adapters are not his, they are knock-offs. The other products are also not likely from RPM as well. Buyer be ware.

I believe the E-Bay seller is 'Bona fide'

As per this Thread:http://www.fjowners.com/index.php?topic=12388.msg125937#msg125937 (http://www.fjowners.com/index.php?topic=12388.msg125937#msg125937)

QuoteAt this time there are no US dealers that offer the adapter other than RPM. For the European customers there are two sources for genuine RPM adapters, http://www.yamahaxjrownersclub.com (http://www.yamahaxjrownersclub.com) or eBay vendor "mtbb1964".

Looks an RPM supporter and not a competitor as I suspected. Good catch, thanks.

Randy's at work so he requested that I post this message from him:

There are currently two overseas groups/persons selling select RPM products.

The two vendors are:

http://www.yamahaxjrownersclub.com (http://www.yamahaxjrownersclub.com)
They stock RPM oil filter adapters, and RPM supplied genuine Yamaha items; valve cover Gaskets and slave cylinders & rebuild kits

Martin Buckley who sells on eBay under, mtbb1964
Martin stock oil filter adapters, RPM pod filters and breather filters.

There is another UK based RPM customer who purchase a RPM adapter and then went out and started making his own. Based on the pictures I have seen, he changed the design of the oil supply holes to the filter which can either restrict oil flow or make the adapter weak and prone to cracking.

If anyone ever has a question about any eBay item being sold as genuine RPM, shoot me an email and I will look at it and advise.
