Came across these tires http://www.kendatire.com/en/motorcycle/street/retroactive/ (http://www.kendatire.com/en/motorcycle/street/retroactive/) yesterday while reading the latest issue of Rider magazine. Website for them says they've been available since Summer 2013.
Their pricing seems reasonable: http://www.motosport.com/kenda-k676-retroactive-tire-combo (http://www.motosport.com/kenda-k676-retroactive-tire-combo) <== You need to plug in the sizes, but I got $172 for a front and rear combo package here.
Has anyone who is still (if there are any left besides me  ) running 16 inch hoops tried these tires? If so, please post some feedback.
Thanks.
I have no experience with the Kendas but if you are looking for a good economical tire I would recommend Shinko. I have had them on 4 bikes even a heavy beast like a Goldwing and cant fault them unless you want a tire where you can almost lean the bike parallel to the road.
Takes a little time for them to warm up.They are on my FJ now. About the same price as the Kendas
FJ1100mjk,
No experience with Kendas, but one vote for 16" Pirelli Sport Demons.
Cheers,

If you can find them, Avon 45/46, radials... I ran them before I went to 17"...
Oh no another tire post! The new Indian Scout runs Kenda 673s in 150/80 and 130/90 not sure on price. The 676 look like decent tires and a good price. Im with wildfire I think Shinkos are the way to go. Im putting a set on my 16s as soon as the Avon Venom is toast Charley.

Oh no another tire post!
Charley.
Another tire post per se. However, my question is in regards to
Kenda Retroactive tires.
What brand and/or model of tire you're running and why, has been covered (and will continue to be covered) numerous times.
I have burned through a few sets of the other brands and their particular offerings a few times now, but have no experience with the Kenda Retroactives. Hence, my question regarding them.
These do look like they'd be a good tire to run on an FJ. Hope you get some feedback. Otherwise Maybe a local shop has some in stock that you could check out. I haven't bought the Shinkos yet so I'm still open to other options. (popcorn)
