Hi,
I have just noticed that the seats that a lot of the fjs in the states have are different to the one on mine.
In particular the one on several of the bike is the thread about hard and soft luggage. The one aviationfred has on his bike in particular seems to be more sculptured in the front position and seems wider and mor sculptured for the pillion also. Is this a standard seat? I don't recall ever seeing one like that over here in NZ.
Maybe this may be the answer to the issue that we are having with pillion seat comfort.

Corbin after market seats.
The seat on my FJ is a Corbin Gunfighter and Lady.

A lot of us have the Corbin seat . It is more comfortable for long hauls and has the removable back rest for your lady.
This is good looking seat modification.

^^^For a track bike...fine.
For a street bike, nope. The padding is too thin (at least for my bony ass)
Although...I do like those FJ1100/1200 Fairings
