I ordered a set of the Extreme Performance Fork Seals and Dust Seals. I plan on getting these installed after the holidays.

You are a brave man Fred. Many have tried after market seals and discovered they are nothing close to the quality of the OEM seals. That said, I am eager to find out how well they hold up. If they work well then I can stop looking for a way to protect my forks with the RPM brace on. But I may not stop looking because its fun to find solutions...

I wonder if a standard seal driver will work with this seal design???

The fork protector is only the dust seal. The package came with a separate set of seals. I also have a set of OEM seals that I will install and the put the fancy dust seals on. The protectors are rubber and flexible so any slight contact with the main fairing should not hurt the fairing.

I was cruisin ebay for some fork seals and dust seals for the R6 forks that I'm servicing ready for the FJ.

I came across these OEM items for a good price locally ! - both these facts made me sit down in fact
