Title: Search function
Post by: copper on December 08, 2014, 10:58:54 AM
I have just joined and have been trying to use the search function and I am hanging a time of it. I enter a word I'm looking for and I get posts unrelated.

Is there a secret to using the function as I am trying to research before asking.

Yes, the resident search engine leaves something to be desired at times. I still use it from time to time.

I think someone suggested at one time to utilize Google search, and maybe include FJowners.com along with your key word(s) in your search, to yield more pertinent results.

Do your your search with Google, for your term and then add site:Fjowners.com. Google seems to have indexed the fjowners site rather well (along with the rest of the web).
