Hi all,
I just picked up an 86 the other day. It seems to run well enough, needs a little cosmetic attention and some carb adjustments/synchronizing. I needed another bike like I needed a hole in my head, but I can use it for a commuter while I dink with my others. Plus the Wife can touch the ground so it's a two-fer.
If anyone in the Sacramento area would like to meet for a cup of coffee, I'd love to pick the brain of someone that's familiar with them.
Tim
Well there are about half a dozen of us or more in Sacto and the outling zones. Welcome to the mad house
Kim :greeting:
welcome to the group.... you guys looking for snow shovels?
KOokaloo!
Frank
Can't find it, it's buried in the snow bank :pardon:
Welcome Tim,
I have an 86 myself and always enjoy meeting a fj rider. Modifications are always a hot topic.
I'm around the sunrise mall area of citrus heights.
the local fj contingent often rides the foothills when the weather is cooperating .
Very nice.
I'm just down the street from you at Antelope and 80. You'll have to let me know when you go for a ride, I'd love to tag along.
Tim
Tim, there is a fj guy off of antelope/80 as well with lots of time on his hands.
I will be wrenching on my fj for a bit , if you're up for bench racing let me know.
Mark,
That sound great. I sent a PM with my phone #.

That's what my typing looks like after only 2 beers! Suddenly I'm fluent in pidgeon. Jeeez.
