PHASE II - Gifts for 13 kids.
This year we had some timing and communication problems with the orphanages and safe houses. So that means we will be sponsoring the same place as last year. It's a safe house in my Hungarian town. There are 13 children there. At this point, please only sponsor ONE child so others can get involved. The limit for each child is $20. My wife and I will be purchasing the gifts here locally. The mail system in Hungary is totally unreliable, so please do not offer to mail anything. It will not arrive in time anyway... if ever.
Here's how it works: Please follow carefully.
1. Click on this link to open the online spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mxZg8VRp9OenfgwRmZnYRRhpIrPnGskCk5ACOahFWg0/edit?usp=sharing (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mxZg8VRp9OenfgwRmZnYRRhpIrPnGskCk5ACOahFWg0/edit?usp=sharing)
2. Find a child you wish to sponsor and put your FJowners screen name in the right column. IMPORTANT --> After you type your screen name in, click a different cell so it saves your name. Then you can close the web browser. It will save. It wouldn't hurt to open the file again to ensure it saved.
3. Go to https://www.paypal.com/ (https://www.paypal.com/) and send the funds to lotsokids@netzero.net
Like last year, we will try to be diligent to take some photos of the kids and match to the sponsor. Thank you all in advance!!!
Done.
Done also. Thanks Mark
Just to clarify... these are NOT the same children as last year, but the same place.
Thank you again! :good2:
Kids, eh?

Done
Done. Klavdy that was sooooo true and very funny. There is eleven and a half years between me and my youngest sister so I got stuck with the baby sitting and diaper changing. Fast forward to my now adult baby sister making fun of me with my baby daughter about learning how to change diapers. I just said I remembered changing hers. Not another word out of her! Klavdy that brings back memories but thankfully not the smell. Dave

Donation made... thanks for doing this!

Donation made. Good job, Mark!
I got my donation in, still a few left. If any are left open I would be happy to fill in a few more. What is the deadline?
This was slow starting at first, but now gaining steam today. "the fan" donated enough for 5 kids, so I put his name down for 5. Currently there is only one left, so act fast. Deadline is Dec 3, but I expect the last one to be sponsored within the next few minutes... :good2:
Again, very successful event. Pictures to follow. I believe we will be delivering the gifts on December 14.
Filled in the last blank.... thanks for helping the kids again Mark!
Kookaloo!

And I felt guilty last year when I took two children... Not really, I wanted to make sure that they all felt the love and support from the global family they are part of.... "The Fan" has a like minded heart for the young ones. Good on ya' mate...
Awesome! We're done! A very big THANK YOU to all. Stay tuned for the photos! :yahoo:
UPDATE
CANDY
All candy and gifts purchased. We had an awesome opportunity for the candy. A couple weeks ago we traveled to Aviano Air Base and found a ton of candy on clearance. We bought nearly all of it. They were almost giving it away. My wife and friends counted, sorted, and stuffed about 250 candy bags and will deliver sometime soon to the 9 locations. She forgot to get photos, so her plan is to get a photo with each of the directors of the locations with the candy bags.
GIFTS:
For those who sponsored a child, your gifts are purchased and wrapped. They will be delivered on Sunday, Dec. 14. I'll make sure we get some photos and match them with the children and sponsor, and post here.
Thank you all so much! :good2:
Mark
Thanks for the update Mark.
Good onya mark! :good2:

Yesterday my wife delivered candy bags and gifts to 2 orphanages in Kőszeg, Hungary. The candy bags went to a major orphanage, and gifts for a baby orphanage. The baby orphanage was sponsored by my workplace. Below are some photos.
TODAY in about 2 hours, we will be delivering the gifts to the Kanaan Haz, a safe house in our town - the one you guys sponsored.
I'll post pictures and match with the sponsors soon.

Thank YOU Mark for putting this all together for those kids.
A great thing!
That is cool. Well worth the few bucks.
Thanks for doing it, Mark!
