With winter temps comes winter battery issues. anyone considering a lithium Ion battery should check these out. they are head and shoulders above the Ballistic brand Chinese crap and about $10 cheaper. only weigh 12oz and enough cranking Amps to start a V8 engine 10 times back to back. they can be oriented in any position so real popular with modders, off roaders...
Check them out

I'm running an Anti-Gravity battery in my 500cc single.
Nice batteries & they remove about 10 lbs of weight from your bike.
Ballistic batteries are manufactured in Wisconsin... So far not a province of china.
I know the Owner Chip reasonably well and he is a good guy. I also know that his customer service is top notch. Saying that it looks like a good price on the Anti Gravity. Not sure where those are made...

I had 2 ballistic batts in my XR650 go bad in 1 year. the first one was warranted no problem. second one died on me in 1 week(yes charging system good, re did terminals and ground conn) My dealer said to bang the top of the battery with a screwdriver, I did that and the battery came to life, I lived with this scenario for a couple months... no power no problem, just smack the top of the fucker. finally I cut the top off to see what was going on. I found poorly soldered connections in the cap. also discovered the cells ( a123 lioh) can be found separately on Ebay or most RC Hobby Shops...made in China.
Ive had the Anti-Gravity in the bike for 6months, no issues. now I haven't cut it open or had to smack it and they are proud to say they are 100% made in America.
I have a Ballistic in my FJ for over a year now with no issues so apparently the cant take the punishment of off road riding.
