Title: New 1984 FJ100 owner
Post by: indyblue on December 04, 2009, 01:31:57 PM
I just purchased a nice mint condition FJ110 w/39K on the clock.  Since it is winter here in Indy, I have only had a couple chances to ride it.  It seems to run and handle great.

It is the first Yamaha I've owned and it shares the garage with my Pontiacs, old and new.

It has been jetted, K&N filters on each carb, and has a dyno tuned Supertrapp installed.

My last bike was an old 1982 Honda Sabre V45 with Hondaline farings, but it hadn't been started or ridden in so long I didn't want to spent the time & money to get it road worthy again plus it was only a 750.

It has a custom blue paint job on it as my profile pic should show.  I will get better pics later.

There's an Aussie connection lurking in there beside the Firebird!

I won't tell if you don't.  I don't think I can talk the wife into doing the Monaro conversion I'd like....  It does have a GMM shifter from OZ tho.
