Just saw the schedule. May 1, 2015 I should be on the track with my ancient, carbureted, 1988 FJ1200. That's O.K. - it's a BLAST!!! :yahoo:
AndyB, I'll be re-visiting your comments about how to get my 1/4 mile time down. I recall a comment about strapping the front suspension down to eliminate the bouncing.
Also, I have a larger sprocket for the rear (up one tooth... I think to 41?). I never installed it - haven't been on a track since 2011. Here's that topic:

+1 on strapping down the front end - just don't strap them all the way down, be sure to leave 1 to 2 inches of travel. It will keep it from washing out at the top end if it's rough or when you get on the brakes to stop.
