Hmm, air cooled, fuel injected 4 cyl 1251cc engine. Think it'll fit? (ya know what I mean..) Of course, you would have to decide if the loss of power is worth the f/i. Or is this pretty much a standard 1300cc engine?

97hp and 80 lb/ft of torque ain't no slouch.

I can't imagine it would be too difficult to find the lost ponies with a power commander and possibly cam timing.....
