Has anyone found a source for the wiring connectors used on the FJ? Specifically, I need the connector that is on the front turn signal pigtail. I can cut the connector off of the stock turn signal, but I'd rather not if I can avoid it. I guess I can check Ebay for some turn signals. Probably wouldn't have to be just for an FJ...

Not sure what the connector looks like, but maybe one of these places. There's others too.

Joe,
there's is typically a locking tab that holds the lead in the connector body. Depress that tab and you should be able to release the lead from the connector. You might be able to insert the leads into a new connector body.
I appreciate those links! Looks like Vintage Connections has the 3 conductor flat connector I need. And Hooligan, thanks for pointing out that the pins can be swapped over to a new connector. I have a bad habit of cutting first and thinking later. I just want to get these mirrors/turn signals wired up with a minimal amount of butchery, so when I go back to stock, it will be fairly simple.

I have used Molex connectors as replacement or as a new connector. Your local Radio Shack stocks them. They come in a few sizes, 4 pin, 6 pin, 9 pin and 12 pin.
I used a 4 pin connector for the Oil Temp gauge that I installed. The one thing to pay attention to is that a special crimper is required, but not necessary for a proper crimp. I own such a tool.

Fred,
I have the crimper and both male and female pins for some Hitachi connectors I used on my Goldwing. I probably actually, for once have everything I need to start a project. :wacko3: finishing it is another thing...
