I have a 93 FJ non ABS and I am looking for a set of front braided brake lines. I have stock calipers and the RPM risers by Randy which by the way are great. I was looking at the Galfers because they have the ends that rotate so no kinking. I did some searching here for the proper lengths and I was not able to find it. Do I just order them an inch longer than the stock kit or is there a certain length that works perfectly with the RPM risers. I am looking for the two line setup not the stock setup. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mark, sorry I don't have my measurements handy, others will chime in here.
I do remember that I used some #12 electrical wire to obtain my measurements. Stuck one end into the holes on the m/c banjo bolt to hold it, then routed the lines where I wanted them, then stuck the other ends into the caliper banjo bolts and secured them.......that allowed me to move the forks back and forth to check for any rubbing on the lines...
Wire is the way to go...much more accurate than trying to do it with string or worse, a tape measure.
It took a little time, but it turned out right.... I used Spiegler lines, that way I could get the angled banjo fittings I wanted....expensive, yep, but what the hell...they are only brake lines...
I can't vouch for the Galfer brake lines. I have a set of the 2 line (race) Goldridge brake lines. The are for the OEM calipers and master. The length of the lines function well with the RPM handle bar risers.

Because of the Blue dot calipers and the VFR master cylinder, you may have to flip the lines to work with the OEM brake components

Make you measurements using 1/4 inch OD plastic tubing. About the same diameter as a brakeline. It routes and flexes like a real brakeline if you need to consider dynamics.
On the front line(s) consider adding about an inch to your measurement. That should give you some slop to remove the handlebar without sliding the fork tube down or removing a line. You can always put a small bit of twist to help store the additional length.
Also checkout VENHILL lines. The lines and banjo fittings are separate. Attach the fittings to the m/c and calipers, route the line how you want it to fit, then tighten everything down.

thanks everyone for the input, much appreciated. I'm in Seattle right now so when I get back to Canada I will probably buy online from one of the great links you guys gave me unless someone knows a good place in Seattle that I could get the lines from. Better this way, the wife won't see the lines in the mail if I order them online, lol.

I've used Spiegler custom length lines in the past & I'm very pleased with them. I use either a sewing tape measure, or a wire, to determine length. I add 1-2" extra to my best measurement & that seems to work well. This way you can route the lines however you like. I run a 2 line kit from the master cylinder to each front brake. I run one line down each fork leg vs. a cross-over on top of the fender. The left side line ends up being much longer than the right side.

Forks are YZF600R with blue spots, MC is 2005 FJR1300.
I did some more research and I found a brake line supplier called Venhill from the UK. It has good reviews. I contacted them and asked if they would be able to add about one inch to the brake line length to compensate for the handlebar risers and they said no problem and there is no additional charge. They also have adjustable banjos so no twisting of the lines once installed. The total to Canada was 81.37$ USD with shipping. Not too expensive either.

You'll love the Venhill lines. Best way to install them is mount the banjos on the calipers and master then route and attach the lines. Way easier that trying to rotate the fitting
