I just purchased this no frills GPS speedo. I don't need all the extra fancy gizmos that come with others that are offered. It is 3 3/8" diameter, which should drop right into the existing instrument bezel. I will do a write up once I get it installed and a ride with it.

Fred - thanks for being our eBay guinea pig for many of these mods! :drinks:
3 miles is all you got... WTF??? Pushing the bike in and out of your garage? Fred, you know we need more info... Dude, are you an early product gimmick guy. I don't think so..

I have not received the new speedometer yet, :flag_of_truce: the photo is a file photo.
I have actually done a few new changes to the Silver Bullet. Once I get the speedo and the RPM exhaust installed, I will post up some photos and feedback on the GPS Speedo and RPM exhaust.
Fred
Ok, I will pass on this one... Just once... Post up what you get, the GPS speedos are likely a good fix for our aging FJ's.... I know my adapted 84' speedo has only soo many more miles before it gives up the ghost...
Whoo Hoo....... No more bouncing speedo needle. :yahoo: I received and installed the GPS Speedometer this evening.
I did have to modify the instrument bezel, the instrument housing and the GPS unit itself.

In the shot below, the readout is much easier to read than what is shown. The camera didn't pick up the LCD screen very well in the dark.

Fred
I like it! :good: A perfect match in the dark.
Wow, I can't tell the difference.. Looks very OEM, Cough! Cough! Fred, good fix, we now have another option for the failing parts of our venerable and much beloved FJ's... At least the color is still red at night...

Slave driver, you make this place what it is, quality and performance. Do you work for RPM?
One odd thing that I discovered. While backing the FJ out of the garage this morning, the speedometer reads MPH while backing up. :pardon:
