Title: Ride to Bring Out Your Dead Motorcycle Rally
Post by: FJ1100mjk on July 27, 2014, 08:18:00 AM
Spent yesterday riding 400 miles riding to and from the Bring Out Your Dead Motorcycle Rally that was in Duluth MN. Took a side trip up the North Shore along Lake Superior with a couple of others, since it was a great day for riding, Sunny, mid-eighties.

Stopped along the St. Louis River south of Duluth on the way up...

The rally's headquarters, Sir Benedicts By The Lake, a quaint English-type pub on the shore of Lake Superior...

And there always seems to be a unique bike of some sort at the rally every year. This year, a twin-engine Harley dragster. It was started up a couple of times. Loud!

All in all, nice day of riding and bikes to look at.

If we could only have a crystal ball at times, huh?

This is full of awesome-ness, thanks for sharing!  Is there a website or something?  I'l like to go to this, I assume it's an annual thing.

Yes, it's an annual thing. I stumbled across it through interactions with people in the local vintage motorcycle clubs.

It's around the same time every year. I think it's driven by something like third or last full weekend in July, or something like that. Mark your personal calendar, then when you're headed towards July next year, check the following for information, or call them.

1. It's under the Events area for the pub...

2. Check the Event Schedule of the website for the Viking Chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America...
