Sorry but this is too beautiful not to post. It could almost tempt me from the FJ, for short rides anyway.
Very short rides !

I bet it sounds as good as it looks too. Love the sound of a triple. :good2:
For you youngsters, back in the day, that was the hot ticket... a Triumph engine in a Norton featherbed frame...
I've seen many Bonneville's but never a triple....what a beautiful creature

You need both.. you would always regret the FJ. Different bikes for different rides.. but yes.. a lovely bit of creation.

Maybe they were never sold in the US. Not that many people were buying Triumphs and BSA's in the 70's but to answer someone else's question, yes, they do have the most glorious exhaust note with a touch of "howl" and I agree Pat, that is one of the most beautiful bikes.

Here's a link to the story behind the bike, http://www.theridersdigest.co.uk/theres-no-such-thing-as-an-original-triton/, (http://www.theridersdigest.co.uk/theres-no-such-thing-as-an-original-triton/,) for around £40,000 you can have one too. That's around $73,000 in Oz dollars, would be a bit less in USA, you lucky buggers.
The link doesn't work properly but will take you to the site then just type Triton in the search bar.
