Title: Broken v&h 4:1 exhaust bracket

Hi! I am looking for some advice on the best approach/technique to repair a broken exhaust bracket. I dropped the header while changing oil and noticed the mounting "tab" on the v&h 4:1 muffler was cracked, and it has finally broken all the way through. I appreciate any insight y'all can provide!

Weld it up! Will be stronger in that spot then the rest of the tab.

Thanks FJ and TexasDave...reckon bracket has a meeting with a welder in the near future.
