Title: Fuel pump check valve
Post by: sbikebee on June 26, 2014, 12:28:48 PM
In diagnosing a carb drip I find my fuel pump allows fuel past when turned off. Has anyone actually messed with the check valve that is in it? Looking for input on this before I disassemble it and look for myself. Anybody?

Can't help with the fuel pump question....

Do you still have that beautiful ex-superbike FZ-750?!

Why yes I do, and an equally as pretty 305 pound full race kit FZr400.

Took one apart.  You pretty much destroy it doing that.  Not serviceable IMO. I went with an aftermarket replacement.  So far so good.
Doesn't help much but that's my experience with it.
