Finally got off my lazy ass and rode my first Iron Butt Association Saddle Sore of the year on Friday (June 20). I did the ride on my 92 FJ, using paper maps, rather than my heavily customized 07 FJR. Left Kincardine, Ontario and did a loop north through Cochrane, Ont....about 1670kms in 19 hours. Saw some black bears, and a moose....very little traffic. It was a good day!
Saw another FJ (I believe it was an 86) heading north on Hwy 69 just north of Britt Ont. at around 5:30pm. Was that anyone from the forum? Jake maybe?

Well done. Always good to get out and do some serious mile..
Will you be registering the ride?
Cheers
Perry,
Good deal!
I need to do another one on my latest FJ acquisition, just so it earns the right to wear the tag backing plate.

Hey Richard,
I will be registering the ride. I like to register at least one ride per year. I would like to get in a Lower Great Lakes 1000 ride in the coming weeks as well.
