bike will start but will die without blipping throttle, runs good down the road but adjusting the idle screw does not keep it running. choak has little effect on starting bike. I have 37.5 pilot jets in. are they too small? I don't think I have a vacuum leak. needles are turned out 3 turns. have not sync up carbs yet.
37.5s too small? Probably. They are definitely clogged. Are you in USA? Then get #40s from Randy. Bad USA gasoline means they will clog AND they're too small.
I cleaned carbs and replaced the jets, shouldn't be plugged. this is a gf 86 fj1200
Did you clean out the four tiny holes above the butterfly valve. One is pretty obvious because the needle mixture screw is just above it but theres a triangle of holes about an inch deeper in the throat. If even one is clogged, that cylinder will idle badly. Make a manometer or buy one and sync the carbs.
