Title: 84 1100- fairing scoops repair
Post by: bigbore2 on May 30, 2014, 07:19:03 PM
Got a fairing scoop that one of the plastic mounts the screw threads into [screw holding scoop to duct- there are 3 of them] is cracked and half of the mount is ready to fall off.  I would like to repair this with some kind of bonding epoxy? Then put some in the mount hole before i thread the screw back in to lock it together.    I assume it is ABS like everything else.   I also have several fairing cracks PO put in, and need to cut out a channel and repair the same way so I don't mind spending some money on product if i can use it for that also.

Hi!  Check "side cover fix" in maintenance section.  I ran across it searching on a similar issue.
