Title: Help confirm rear wheel seals from parts pic to OEM diagram
Post by: Charlie-brm on May 01, 2014, 10:23:26 PM
The bearings and seals in my rear hub were hard to sort out from the ugliest rusty brown sludge masquerading as grease that I've seen in, well, forever. Splattered out on to the cush drive rubbers too. I'll take it these are what's left of the originals of 30 years ago.
I don't think I recovered all the bits I see laid out in the OEM diagram, especially on the cush drive side. It would have been smarter if I had the diagram at hand before tapping out the bearings. From past wheels, I wasn't expecting anything beyond the bearings themselves and the long spacer tube.

Here is an image of what I do have, in addition to the actual bearings. Any help ID'ing these would be appreciated. I think the smaller one with all the rust was the one on the sprocket side, being just as rusty as the bearing from that side.
That would make it Part # 2H7-25315-00-00  FLANGE, SPACER

Then I'm thinking the heavier one is Part #33 in the diagram. Must have been half asleep to miss that.

What is labeled as OEM Part #6  93210-65752-00  O-RING. I don't have anything like that. Any information on that? 100% necessary? Dimensions? I can source o-rings very readily from nearby.

Then for the brake rotor side, I'm 99% sure that OEM Part #5 93106-40027-00 OIL SEAL is the item to be replaced with the smaller of the 2 seals in the All Balls kit.

The larger seal in the kit is for the cush drive's bearing assembly.
