Just joined the site and thought I should say hello. I had a FJ1200 for about 6 years and sold it for what I thought would be a better bike about 5 years ago. Since then I have found nothing I like to ride as much, even got an XJR1300 but its still not the same. So last week I bought a 1991 FJ again for spares or repairs, took it for an MOT test and it passed :good2: It had been standing for about 4 years so I am gonna strip it down and clean it all up and get it running right. I am hoping to make use of the techy section and the knowledge of the members on here. Cheers guys
John
Welcome John, back in 86' I bought a new Honda CBR600 (the Hurricane). I now know that I would have been happier with the 86' FJ... Plenty of great tech info here, it tends to feed the very addictive affliction of "Moditus". My 86' has never been better in looks and handling. And I am not done, the Mod list still has some needed items to check off. The gateway modification for me was the RPM spin-on oil filter adapter from RPM. Once you get a taste it only gets worse and FJ ownership gets better. Kookaloo buddy....
Welcome John, good to here that you picked up an FJ and that you are planning on getting it in shape again. This is a great group and will help where we can. Keep us posted, send some pictures if you can.

Welcome back into the FJ fold ! They are a hard bike to replace just for fun riding. Post some pictures when you can John.
