hi George. I'm located in the UK. I've only done a few hundred miles on her and I know I made the right choice of bike. she's low enough for me with more than enough power to get me and my son about in comfort. I do have a question though. I had to change the fork seals and when I put it back together I noticed the abs plate on the wheel doesn't go right in it sticks out by about 1mm. if I take the spacer from behind it, it goes straight in. is this normal?

I knowledge of ABS stops at how to spell it .   But others will be here soon with information for you, keep checking. Yes she has a lot of power.  What I and others like is that she has a pretty flat torque curve and will pull nicely in just about any gear. That's especially nice if you ride two up or carry luggage.

I'm also from Dudley and ride an FJ1200, however, these days I live in Vancouver BC, so we won't be running into one another anytime soon!  I used to ride an FJ1100 when I lived in Dudley though; small world :good2:
