Ok I have been bad and not paying attention to my 91 FJ the past couple of years. It has not been started since last October and I figured the carbs would have been a mess sitting so long. I knew the battery was dead, so I decided to hook up the battery charger and see what happens. After charging the battery for 3 hours on a two amp charger, I went out and she fired right up and ran perfectly. This bike continues to impress me after many, many years.
I am looking forward to spending a lot more time on the FJ this year.. Hope to see some of you out there on the road...

Eric,
I have to laugh every time I read your tagline: "All unattended children will be served an espresso and given a puppy"
(I'm drinking a freshly made cappuccino as I type this. We have a restaurant-style machine here in the shop.)

Eric you lucky bastard! I spend 5 weeks away from home and now my FJ has a rough idle. :dash2: :dash2: :dash2: So I put carb cleaner in the tank, take a short ride (60 miles), still runs rough at idle... Crap, now I have to pull the carbs off. The following week I adjusted the valves, one more short ride, idles perfectly now... Dodged that bullet, I hate this crappy gas in Kalifornia..
