Yep, good call...
He's obviously got a gazillion dollars behind him, but hear him mention it costs $25.00 for electricity for his lift to do a cycle.
They reckon money can't buy happiness, but I wouldn't mind the chance to find out.

Yep, money can buy an FJ, fix it up, custom fit to suit the rider.... Seems damn close to buying Happiness to me.... :drinks:
Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy you a boat big enough to pull right up along side it.
I don't hate this guy...I love this guy! If you did whatever work it took...or took the risks to reap the rewards, I say reap all you want. That being said, I was dissappointed with the sea of cookie-cutter Harleys and the lack of anything interesting on four wheels in the lower garage. $5mil? Heck, a single aluminum bodied Porsche 550 Spyder would set you back $1mil alone. I was expecting a row of them...or similar!
Cap'n Ron. . .
Did I miss something?
All I saw was Harley's and cars you'd find in any middle class supermarket carpark.
The crime is not what he spent the money on but what he didin't!
Noel
You guys will go blind looking at that stuff!
thats just amazing, nearly as good as the Thunderbirds set up on their private island, ,,but i have to side with ribbert, ,, all that money and look what he filled it with,
ken

Nope, you didn't miss anything.
All that $$$ and the cool stuff he could've had in there. :sorry:
Nice place, though.
I declare motorcycle abuse.. Ahh, to pen them up and never put them into the wind. It's his money, but damn! :negative:
of course, I guess it depends on whether or not you believe that machines can have a soul.
That place was all over the news up here last year as it was for sale. It seemed like every local news agency was there riding up & down on the elevator.
I am not sure if it ever sold, but it is in the Tahoe area and rumored to be right next door the Flynt's Tahoe place, I wonder if he has an elevator too... :scratch_one-s_head:

I think we're looking at this all wrong...he's on a one-man mission to keep Harleys off the road. Kinda my new hero. :good2:

I like the way you mind works Cap'n.
I wonder if the fact many of his Harley's have never been started was a matter of choice?

Wow, what a waste of money and garage space! I figure he earned it the hard way; he inherited it.

Sort of like inheritance, he is a software engineer. So in a twisted round-a-bout way we all paid for it in some fashion...
This guy is in Spain, most of his bikes are late 80's and early 90's.

Our "Tahoe Place" is a dinky cabin in Donner Lake area of Truckee and it could fit on this guys elevator... but it's a great ski cabin within a block of Donner Lake for the summers. All those distractions would just keep me from what I come up here for (here today to do some skiing on the paltry snow that fell this week).

I can easily hate that spanish collector. Really deeply.
Unless I meet him of course and he turns out to be a generous soul, willing to pass his keys around.
Andy
This is the guy with money that I get a kick out of Obsessives: Fabio (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VSkY0MfOqk#)
Fabio. You know, the romance novel cover model with the long blonde hair.
Over 200 bikes stored here and there around the property where ever he can fit them, like real people with the sickness normally do it.
Also look at all the bikes with plates. A separate interview years ago said he keeps a lot them registered and insured, ready to go anytime he feels like it. This vid seems to back that up.
OK I think I could like Faby now. Hell he's just like the rest of us white trash, His back yard is full of old bikes stored in a tent and a couple of old shipping contaners
