Title: Snow
Post by: big r on December 21, 2013, 12:08:37 AM
Well, it started snowing at about 2:30 this morning and at1:00 pm it is still trying. Got about 4 in. today. The fj is in the shed and the battery is in the closet on the battery tender. I have just about had enough of winter already. Tired of putting chains on and the cold. Need to retire and find a warmer place to live. Might have to move to Georgia to be closer to my granddaughter. I hope all you folks have a great Xmas and a happy new year.Big R

Ditto on the good wishes for Xmas and the New Year.

Happy to report that snow is just a memory and something to look at on TV.
We had our first 40C day this week, and I still prefer that to snow.

All of you in the frigid North, keep warm and us'uns in the South will try to remain cool.

Around here if it's snowing then the temp is coming up  :good2:... Understand fully about going where the sun is shinning during the winter... Normally we are in Yuma with our Canadian friends...

Wishing all a good holiday season and a happy new year.

Thew snow is brutal here at 5000 feet (Newcomb's Ranch), I had to slow down in a few corners, bloody stuff messing up my ride.... Good thing I brought along my tire chains, just in case....

No tire chains, but studs helped me in the snow today.

Two days ago it was 60 degrees and I was riding. Tonight 1/2 inch of ice under an inch of snow. Bikes are tucked away nice and dry.

Monkey, one of these days, one of us is going to come around and give you a good spanking. A really good spanking you won't soon forget!
Rode the KLR today at my second home, (work); can't wait to ride the FJ home after Christmas, after work is done. Nice weather, only 40* and light rain.
:bye:
Merry Christmas everyone, hope your family is happy and safe and Randy's parts show up on time!
:sarcastic: :hi:
