Well, fitted the new RPM fork valves and springs to compliment the RPM rear shock. Also fitted a CBR1000 radial master cylinder and braided lines. So now not only does the FJ glide beautifully over the rough stuff, I can confidently scrape the pegs, it also stops with one finger!!!!! Now for some stickier tyres I think!
Thanks Randy :::::)))))
Sounds like you've got it sorted suspension and brake wise Tom, what other mods have you done, or got planned for the future.

Basically I am keeping it standard. Keeping the 16/17 inch wheels, probably fit Bridgestone BT45s. It has an Rpm spin on filter(I use a Subaru filter which works fine) No air box, dual pod air filters, (rejetted and fiddled with using a CO2 meter and vacuum gauges, Also I have access to a dyno - yet to do. I can just let the clutch out two up and it'll rev cleanly to 9K, with no surging at cruise, so it can't be too far off- Grunt, yeah!! It has no brand noisy mufflers which I want to change to something a bit quieter and find a nice rack (which my missess has, but not very useful for keeping people on the back!!)
You might be able to repack your mufflers. :good2:

This is true, but really I'm not keen on how they look either and working in a bike shop, new ones are easy to come by.. :good2:

Hi tom,
Can I ask what weight springs you have run in your front forks??

I weight in at 75kgs so I am running .80 springs with preload adjuster backed off fully, 30mm sag and 130mm air gap with the RPM valves in. This is OK with a pillion on the back too, a little soft under braking, but I mainly ride with no pillion. The shock is as Randy sent it to me? Spring preload is approx 20-25% wound up by the look of it and works beautifully with just me, not to bad with a pillion, you just need to back off the throttle a bit.
