Three times now I've googled everything I can think of to find out, I guess, what an FJ sold in Japan looks like. :flag_of_truce: All my search results assume that I'm searching the category "Japanese motorcycles". I want to see what The word Yamaha looks like in Japanese and how FJ100 is spelled.
This Japanese computer doesn't have the Japanese language in it, so I can't use it to translate. All I see is boxes that are suppose to be Japanese characters. It would be great if someone has a pic of a FJ1100 hauling a rickshaw. (popcorn)
Thanks in advance

Thanks for the link Mark but all I see is boxes. I looked into installing japanese in this laptop but I don't have the xp disc. Microsoft has service pack 3 but it's 16 gig that I don't need except for some japanese font. Never the less, I still want to see a FJ driven by a Japanese person in Japan. These pics are rare as hens teeth.

VERy cool. I guess that settles it, at least in my mind. The graphics are the same. I looked again; "motorcycles in tokyo" and "yamaha motorcycles for the japanese market" The company name and the model are the same. I did find a 91 1200 for sale in tokyo and the same thing. They showed the controls but the pic was fuzzy and I could'nt zoom to see if the symbols on the controls were different. there was a sticker aft of the gas cap that had symbols though. Thank you.
I searched for Yamaha FJ in craigslist Tokyo just for giggles... No fj's for sale but some neat bikes otherwise. No Harley's either... http://tokyo.craigslist.jp/mcy/4210758404.html (http://tokyo.craigslist.jp/mcy/4210758404.html)

The craigs list think is pretty funny. I guess they don't drive harleys. Interesting to see the tour thru tokyo. I wish there was more pics in the bike shop they were talking about.
