Anyone have experience with zeemaps? Here it is used by xs1100 forum. Whoever wants to put up a flag near their location can do so. Pretty handy for new members etc. Me thinks it would be good Downunder and terrific globally....But I`m not much of a Geek.

I vaguely remember a mapping site for the FJ members.
It was done a number of years ago, and I don't remember the URL.
Maybe someone else with less oldtimers' memory will remind us.

I don't know ..........I think you're pretty GEEKY.........(it must be the square dancing....)  :mocking: :rofl2:
I realize this is in the Down Under forum, but the idea of a membership map for the whole world would be very interesting to see where we all are and how far and wide we spread out.
If I knew how to make one, I would, but I suffer from a lack of geekness.

Yeah, in retrospect I picked the wrong topic heading really. The link I put up was the global membership. ..Just had to be scrolled out. I was really hoping this develops...and it looks like that`s happening. :good2:
I think this will be sooooo interesting and add so much more meaning to many posts. (popcorn)

I added the following for wayward riders that may need help:
"Garage, tools, trailer" -and I added my cell phone.
This was the type of information that was available through the Yahoo group map as I recall.

Great idea General, I think Queensland will win hands down with the Aussie members.
I'm pretty sure it was a guy called Chris Vollmer in Sweden, he had this map happening an age ago... bolstering the "Mexican" numbers... Can't have you holding the fort alone Arnie..

When you submit your entry a window pops up and gives you a URL with a code at the end, this is how you can make changes to your information.

No competition, I was simply referring that Queensland would have more members than any other state in Australia.
Pinned in Arkansas.

Sorry, but this is the quality assurance side of me: Can we get the title of the map corrected? We ride FJ1100's, not FJ100's :sarcastic:
FJ Owners
A map of Yamaha FJ100/1200 owners around the world.
I am on the map.
I am on the map for Ararat!
Queensland has too many, they need to share some around or donate some parts to rectify the balance!
:bye:
You'd think all those proud '91 owners would've used pink markers... :pardon: :bomb: (popcorn)
