Thief; "Hey!, what are to cops doing? I'm just in autozone to buy some parts, I didn't do anything, you got the wrong guy, I wasn't the one on the motorcycle!"
Cops; "we didn't say anything about a motorcycle? How did you know we where looking for a guy that stole a motorcycle?"
Thief; AH!, Lucky guess?
Although I must say his lane splitting skills were superb.
here is a reason to relay hate Thieves. My car 2 weeks ago " yes that is in my driveway"

Is that balancing on only two pieces of wood?
not quite the rear right rotor was on a brick
Very efficient. Maybe they have a future on a NASCAR pit crew.
Sucks that it happened to you. Were they aftermarket wheels? Any lock lugs?
As a teen I had "friends" who stole a VW engine out of a baja bug. I think it only took them 15-20 minutes at night. Imagine coming out to your car and when it didn't start thinking it was a dead battery or something... :shok:

No they were stock wheels and they did not have locks on them they will now!!! :diablo: :diablo: :diablo:
I went out to the driveway one morning, and found that I was the new owner of a brand-new instruction booklet for a Sears floor jack. Now I do not have one of those, but one big 4x4 truck tire was planted firmly in the middle of the book. When I rolled my truck forward off the book, the tire made strong tread impressions, so I know that I did not park a wheel on that book, coming in from the night before. Nothing was missing, but I had just put four nice BFG All-Terrain T/A tires on my truck. The aluminum wheels were nothing special, but it still would have been a US$1000 theft, for the wheels and tires. I have motion-detector floodlights mounted high on the house, and I figure that the thieves must have triggered the floodlights by walking around in the driveway. These bright floodlights probably scared off the thieves. I would guess that they lowered the wheel fast, took their floor jack and escaped, but not with their instruction book. I went out and bought four locking lug nuts for my new tires. In this town, ripping off cars can give a guy a bad case of lead poisoning, so maybe everybody learned a bit, that time.
Driving in any time at night, it's really nice to have the whole place light up to greet you. Motion-detector floodlights are fairly cheap now, and easy to install.
Cheers,
Red

I had a classmate in tech school, he needed a new driveshaft, so he and his buddies went out and stole several, imagine firing your car up and putting it in gear, mashing the gas and nothing.....
Another thief, wrong place, wrong time. :diablo:
