Not sure what category to put this in, but around 2200-2800rpms there's a buzz coming from the front fairing. I spend a fair amount of time in town around that rpm range because of the low speeds. I feel around the fairing while it's doing it, but can't find a part that is doing it.
Anyone else had this happen and solved it?

Luckily i got rid of mine. All i did was reattached all wiring with strips and added rubber washes to each screws to the fairing. You can get them at RPM...

Lots of stuff to vibrate. I would recommend a good inspection. Pull the scoops off, remove the left and right fairing dash panels. Check the 4 faring stay bolts and mounts. check the cluster and molding, check the headlight mount, check the side mounts and rubber cushions, there is even some screws under your windscreen. No one answer just a good inspection. Make sure all the trim moldings and foam bits are in place (like the molding on the edges of the dash panels etc.)

One thing I did that helped a lot was to remove the inner fairing panels and apply some of that 'U' shaped car door edge trim to the outside edge of them. It tightened things up a bit, and keeps the inner panels from rattling against the fairing. Some thin rubber washers under the panel bolts also helped.

Yamaha originally had some of those on the panels. I also replaced mine. Just for info Walmart in my area has "door edge trim" it works great for that and also around the windscreen. Almost all auto aftermarket trim shops have the stuff. Sometimes a little silicone spray can help out.

Mine had some along the edge where the inner panels met the tank area, but nothing on the outside edge.

Your bike may be suffering from the headlight rattelling syndrome, mine does, the reflector is loose in the casing.
It's extremely annoying and I never found a way to open the casing without braking the glass lens.
