To Jack and all the others who discussed what fuel line to use on today's ethanol fuels, I use the SAE specification J30R9 lines. The link below identifies the lines at Advance, a simple search on Fuel Injection Line.

Welcome new guy...
Thanks for the welcome, I am not quite new, I had an account but with the rest of life, forgot the username, Bill Rockoff had me join about 2 years back. As for my life with the FJ, I bought mine in 1991 and put 68k on it before selling. It was a Larry "SPIDERMAN" built FJ1200, full Vance and Hines engine work, flat slide Mikunis and 10:20 quarter miles @ 131 MPH if i recall. I do recall without question 7:01 second 1/8 miles at 106 MPH.
Since, I have collected (3) GTS1000A's, in my mind a successor to the FJ in the sport touring and fairing design. I also have (3) FZX700's and a pair or '95/'97 Ducati 916's, both made it to the east coast rally last week.
As soon as I figure out how to fill the profile, I will get more info out.
The screen name comes from my history with the East Coast Tellico Rally, Last year I doctored the fallen rider Cavin, if I have his first name correct, rode the GTS and this year was called DUCATI DAVE. I have playful plans for what I will bring to the next fall rally.

Hey Dr. GTS/Ducati/Fazer guy! Welcome to the forum! I too have a GTS1000 along side my FJ1100. You have good taste in motorcycles! This is a great place to learn alot about the bikes, make good friends and get hooked up on FJ rides! I hope you enjoy it.

Hey Dave,
Was fun riding with you at Tellico. Thanks for looking after Randi when Filetti disabled my bike. I've got 5 months before the Boone Rally to think of a way to get him back, yep it's on. :gamer:

FJ owner Bill Rockoff's son is purchasing the '97. 19 yrs old and in his second year of Mechanical Engineering in college. Good kid, level head and real decent rider to book, he is about to be the envy of his entire college motorcycling club. Leo Vince carbon fiber exhaust, Titanium pipes, Sargent seat, open faced racing clutch basket, and many pretty tid bits to match the HID lighting and number plate paint.
It was a last minute ebay bid that got me the bike, it seemed to nice a bike to let sell for $3950, I bid $4k figuring the other bidder wanted it bad enough to go another $100. Well, I had to explain to the wife I had bought another bike. Laughs were had and I blackmailed Bill to fly to New Haven CT. and retrieve the bike for me. He and Andrew, his son, ferried the bike 1000 miles to Atlanta where we loaded it in my truck to ferry back to Memphis. I was currently unable to ride with severe pain from a herniated disc in the neck, just fused the c5-c6 vertebrae and back riding.
I have hear stories of an Aussie who has invited several of the US members to fly out and ride as well as has trekked here to ride out roads. Might you be that rider?
Dave
Frank, Thanks for the welcome, what serial number is your GTS, mine are both under 600 for the 93 model year.

Scott/Randi, It was my pleasure to protect and serve in the crisis Filetti caused, lol. I vote for a EMP device like Oceans 11, a "BUMP" I think they called it. Maybe just bring a tazer. I enjoyed the rides as well and comradarie, til next time, keep the tires down and and ignition running.
