Post by: dragsmart on September 11, 2013, 03:32:11 PM
Hi to all at the FJ Forum, just got my first FJ albeit in a box!! was running an XS1100 engine in drag form, decided to swap to an FJ for next season, also run a 99 R1 in Street class, here are a few pics of the bikes in action and one of me and a race buddy of mine.

Welcome to the forum. Can't go calling you Dragsmart so give us a name mate. You will find 3 or 4 members here who are into drag racing so will have plenty of subjects for conversation.
Enjoy
Harvy

cheers for the welcome guys, names Martin, live in West Sussex UK, the xs was a bit of a beast in the old days use to run 9.7 with a big shot of NOS, was a chain conversion, more recently had lots of probs with head gaskets, slipping clutch and airshifter failing to find gears!! the r1 can run high nines with ease, if I lost a few kilos would go a lot quicker! pic of me and youngest of  my 4 daughters on her minibike

I'm good mate.   Just chomping at the bit at the mo' over getting my new Tiger 800XC.

That £17 is to join the FJOCUK and not the forum. But in my opinion, and this is only my opinion, that Doc Hacker who runs the club is one big headed, selfish, bastard who won't give any info regarding the FJ without payment to "his" club, 'cos he's got rights on the FJ you know.  But i'm banned form the forum anyway on my present IP address for allowing my mouth to speak my mind. Crimes.
I'll have a look on the bay see what you've got, but in all honesty, i'm snied out with what i've got.
Oh BTW, i ain't got that sprocket cover.

great looking pair of r1,s  , nice times , I should of been a racer, never weighed more than 75kg at the most ,, showed my 5 yr old the pic,  he said the mini bike was too small to race, but he liked the r1 because it looks like añ fj ?
