Hello all,
I'm currently restoring my 85 fj1100. I had hoped to ride it this year, but I don't think that is going to happen.
I am in search of a set of standard size rings. Wiseco makes them but only to fit their pistons not oem pistons.
They are not available through yamaha any more . If anyone knows where or if I can get them please let

i've got 2 Genuine sets of 2nd over size, which you might be able to file down to fit. :sorry:

Randy at RPM has them. www.rpmracingca.com (http://www.rpmracingca.com). He'll stock just about anything you need.

Sorry, not for the 1100. They are gone with only the 1st oversize (.5mm) are still available.

There is a guy that makes rings for just about any smaller engine. I do not know if he makes rings for FJ's or not but you could contact him and find out.

His name is Frank Bowman. He well known for custom and obsolete rings. His email is: ringmaster46@msn.com.

Might be a long shot.
